John Holloway
EMS Supervisor

(March 15, 2022) Snow Hill Volunteer Fire Department EMS (Emergency Medical Service) Supervisor John Holloway attended the March 15 meeting of the Snow Hill Rotary Club and spoke about the status of ambulance service in Snow Hill. The current ambulance staffing consists of four daytime and three nighttime shifts.

Holloway served at the Ocean City Fire Department for 28 years before coming to Snow Hill in 2014. He sees a steady increase in the demand for service as the County grows. There were 1,168 ambulance calls handled by the Snow Hill station in 2021. New volunteers are always needed. There is also a full-time EMS staff opening at this time.
