Assateague Coastal Trust

(February 15, 2022) Kathy Phillips and Gabby Ross of the Assateague Coastal Trust (ACT) attended the February 15 meeting of the Rotary Club of Snow Hill. ACT was established in 1970 and is committed to protecting our watershed to ensure clean waterways for humans and wildlife.

Gabby provided a detailed description of the work of Assateague Coastkeepers who are on-the-water monitors who patrol the watershed in search of water quality problems. ACT also maintains a Swim Guide app that provides water quality information for swimmers.
