Ashley Streebig  Worcester on Wheels

(September 20, 2022) Ashley Streebig from Snow Hill High School attended the September 20 meeting of the of the Snow Hill Rotary Club to talk about the Worcester on Wheels (WOW) project.

Worcester on Wheels is a community outreach project that began during the COVID pandemic. The project sought to bring learning to the doorsteps of students in areas that lack the broad band access needed for distance learning.  To accomplish these goals, an RV was purchased and outfitted with state-of-the-art computers, libraries, and teachers.

Funds for this project came from a statewide program. Snow Hill High School, Snow High Middle School, and Snow Hill Elementary School collaborated on the grant proposal.
