Brian King - Ethne Coffee

(December 14, 2021) Brian King attended the December 14 meeting of the Snow Hill Rotary Club and spoke about the business that he started in the Snow Hill area in 2016 - Ethne´ Coffee Roasters. Brian’s interest in coffee came from living with his wife and children in the heart of coffee country in South-Western China. While teaching English as a second language, he began roasting coffee as a hobby.

Upon returning to the US, Brian decided to start a business using the skills he learned in China. Ethne´ is a Greek word meaning “nations”. Coffee beans are grow in countries with warm climates and so the company connects people from nations around the world through coffee.

Brian has also served as the Pastor for the Snow Hill Mennonite Church for the past four years. Ethne´ products are served at many bed and breakfasts in the area and are available at Del Vecchio’s on Green Street in Snow Hill. Learn more by visiting the Ethne´ Coffee Roasters website.
