(April 25, 2024) On April 25, 20 helmets and 20 sets of shoulder pads purchased by The Rotary Club of Snow Hill were delivered to the Snow Hill Youth Football program. The new equipment was immediately put to use. This purchase was made possible through a 2023/24 District 7630 grant.
The Snow Hill Youth Football program is not affiliated with the public school system and provides youth (ages 6 – 13) with an opportunity to learn cooperation, teamwork, and to receive mentoring through a structured sports environment. There are approximately 15 adult leaders and 100 children who participate in the program each year who are directly benefiting from this grant.
