Snow Hill Rotary Member Receives 2018 Jefferson Award

(Feb. 22, 2018) Snow Hill Rotary member Tommy Mason was honored by WBOC (Salisbury) with the prestigious Jefferson Award on Feb. 22, 2018. Tommy and his wife have been serving the community for many years through the Meals on Wheels program and the Snow Hill Ecumenical Food Pantry.

The Jefferson Awards for Public Service are a national recognition system honoring community and public service in America on two levels: national and local. The mission of the Jefferson Awards is to encourage and honor individuals for their achievements and contributions through public and community service. WBOC is a local partner of this awards program.

Tommy truly exemplifies the Rotary motto - Service Above Self.
