(November 6, 2021) Working with the Snow Hill Food Pantry throughout the COVID pandemic, the Rotary Club of Snow Hill has identified an unmet need at the Pantry – reusable tote bags for food distribution.
The Club has purchased 1,000 bags to meet this need, replacing the plastic bags currently in use. This provides a safer way to distribute food to Pantry clients by eliminating bags that tear, and is a sustainable, environmentally sensitive alternative to disposable bags.
The photo shows Snow Hill Club President TJ Myers presenting one of the bags to Pantry Directors Rosalie Mason and Nick Carter.
