(April 23, 2025) The Rotary Club of Snow Hill held a ceremony on April 23 at the Worcester County Technical High School celebrating the recipients of the 2025 Teacher of the Year honors at our area schools. The Teacher of the Year program is conducted by the Maryland State Superintendent of Schools with school systems across the state.
Those honored at the Rotary ceremony were: Shelby Matassa from Snow Hill Elementary School, Heather Shockley from Snow Hill Middle School, Patricia Solomon from Cedar Chapel Special School, Christina Kozlowski from Snow Hill High School, and Phillip Cropper from Worcester County Technical High School.
The Rotary Club of Snow Hill supports education by awarding scholarships to Snow Hill area graduates, recognizing outstanding teachers, donating books to libraries, and sponsoring peer leadership training for high school students.
