Snow Hill Police Chief Andy McGee

(May 16, 2023) On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, Snow Hill Police Chief Andy McGee spoke to the club. He reviewed recent changes to, and challenges faced by, the Snow Hill police force. Among other things, these included recent changes to the police retirement system, police candidate recruitment challenges, and police reform updates enacted by the State of Maryland. At our meeting, we also celebrated the end of the school year with the Snow Hill High School Interact Club (pictured below). The club currently has 17 members, all of whom received certificates of appreciation for their participation in the club and community service activities. Graduating seniors in the club also received Rotary Interact pins that they will wear with their graduation gowns.
