Robert Keenan
County Recycling Manager

(January 16, 2024) On January 16, Worcester County Recycling Manager Robert Keenan spoke to the Rotary Club of Snow Hill. Keenan is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all Worcester County recycling projects and programs to meet state mandated goals and to educate the public about the benefits of recycling. He was promoted to this position in July 2023.

Keenan was accompanied by Ed Sergeant who supervises the sorting and transport of the County’s recyclables at the Central Landfill site. The review of the FAQ sheet on permitted vs not permitted recyclables lead to the suggestion that Rotary could host a public event on the same topic.
