(August 20, 2024) On August 20, Ricky Pollitt, Development Manager for Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore, gave a presentation on the work of the organization to the meeting of the Snow Hill Rotary Club.
Junior Achievement is a national organization established in 1919. The Eastern Shore chapter of the organization was established in Salisbury in 1985 and serves school districts from Kent County, Del., to Accomack County, Va. Students are provided the tools needed to succeed outside of the classroom. Interactive lessons in finance and career readiness are held at a newly opened facility.
