(April 14, 2026) On April 14, Jocelyn Snelsire, Director of First Wave Families, spoke at the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Snow Hill. The mission of the organization is to empower expectant families with children from birth through 4 years of age in the greater Worcester County, MD area by providing free and comprehensive services.

Programs offered include child development, parenting skill building, workforce development, adult education resources, and other family resources as needed to help families thrive and prepare young children for success in school.
