(October 17, 2023) On October 17 Jean Siers Gleaning Coordinator for the Salisbury, Md., chapter of the Society of St. Andrew spoke to the Rotary Club of Snow Hill. The Society brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste, and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors.

Farm produce gleaned from fields by the organization are shared with food pantries, soup kitchens, food banks and individuals. The Society has provided over 1.25 million servings of food across Delmarva.
