(May 13, 2025) On May 13, Chip Jaeger spoke to the Rotary Club of Snow Hill about the Rotary Student Exchange Program. Chip is the Youth Exchange Chair for Rotary District 7630. Participation in this program is generally fulfilling and life changing for both students and host families.
Any Rotary club may apply to participate in this program through the District office. The process begins with interviews with the interested students and their parents. Most exchanges are scheduled to occur in the summer (for northern hemisphere countries) to avoid conflicts with school schedules. The sponsoring club would need to designate two of its members to manage the process and act as a primary point of contact for the participating students.
