Chesapeake Housing Mission

(September 19, 2023) On September 19, former District 7630 Governor Bill Fergson spoke to the Rotary Club of Snow Hill about the Chesapeake Housing Mission. This organization provides critical home repair, especially wheelchair ramps, to low-income families in Maryland’s Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties.

The demand for services has rapidly increased due to the aging population and the number in need. Over 800 ramps have been built since 2009 including 80 so far in 2023.
