(August 12, 2025) On August 12, Ashley Waters spoke to a meeting of the Rotary Club of Snow Hill on the use of personal stories to frame the image of a Rotary Club in the community. Ashley is the Public Image Coordinator for Rotary Zone 33.
Personal stories from Club members are relatable and can evoke emotion. The stories can be shared in a variety of ways, including on social media. Studies have shown that personal stories serve as a call to action – specifically to get people to join Rotary and support its work in the local community.
