2023 Teachers of the Year

(April 4, 2023) The Rotary Club of Snow Hill held a ceremony on April 4 at the Worcester County Technical High School celebrating the recipients of the 2023 Teacher of the Year honors at our area schools. The Teacher of the Year program is conducted by the Maryland State Superintendent of Schools with school systems across the state.

Those honored at the Rotary ceremony were: Dawn Davis from Snow Hill Elementary School, Kristina Salvarola from Snow Hill Middle School, Kristin Morris from Cedar Chapel Special School, Chris Adkins from Snow Hill High School, and Silviya Gallo from Worcester County Technical High School.

The Rotary Club of Snow Hill supports education by awarding scholarships to Snow Hill area graduates, recognizing outstanding teachers, donating books to libraries, and sponsoring peer leadership training for high school students.
