At the July 24 meeting of the Rotary Club of Snow Hill, Wendy Myers, Director of the Cricket Center, gave a presentation on their streamlined approach advocating for children in need of protection from abuse.

The Cricket Center is a collaboration between agencies in Worcester County dedicated to investigating and prosecuting cases of child abuse and providing support for victims and families. Wendy was accompanied by Josiah, a companion-assistance dog at the Center. Josiah provides great comfort to clients, family members, and service providers. He is specially trained to greet children and engage them in games.
