Addressing the Opioid Crisis Immediately following the November 13 meeting of the Rotary Club of Snow
Hill, six club members received training on how to recognize the symptoms of an
opioid overdose and how to properly administer Naloxone (Narcan) to a person
who has overdosed. The training is provided as a service of the Worcester
County Health Department.
Pictured here is Lynn Suarezapecheche, Coordinator of Special Programs at the Health Department, demonstrating the proper way to administer Narcan. Learn more about overdose prevention programs in the State of Maryland. |
